🇨🇳 China · Startup Visa

Entrepreneur and startup visa programs, investment thresholds, and application criteria.

China does not have a single nationwide "startup visa" comparable to other countries. Foreign entrepreneurs generally enter through the work-permit / Z-visa system (with a qualifying company and role) or, for top-tier talent and leading entrepreneurs, the R (talent) visa. Some free-trade zones and pilot cities run their own entrepreneurship and talent schemes. Confirm current routes with the National Immigration Administration.
