Qatar does not publish a broad standalone digital-nomad visa comparable to dedicated remote-work programmes. Remote workers should not treat visit status as work permission and should verify immigration, tax, health-insurance and local-work rules with MOI and the relevant sponsor or mission.
- Visit status is not the same as work residence.
- Remote work can still raise tax, insurance and immigration issues.
- Use a work, investor or company-sponsored route when local authorization is needed.
