Indonesia permanent residence is handled through ITAP, usually after holding an eligible ITAS basis such as work, investment, family, repatriation or Second Home status. The path depends on the underlying temporary stay permit.

- Applications should be submitted before the ITAS expires and through the relevant immigration office or online channel.
- ITAP is not the same as citizenship; naturalization is a separate AHU process with different requirements.
