Vietnam has no formal dedicated digital-nomad visa in the official public visa routes reviewed. Remote workers usually rely on e-visas for short stays or a sponsored business, work or residence-card route where appropriate.
- The e-visa can be valid up to 90 days and single or multiple entry, but it is not a work permit.
- Working for Vietnamese clients or entities can trigger work-permit, tax and sponsorship questions.
