🇨🇭 Switzerland · Digital Nomad Visa
Remote-work visa programs, income requirements, duration, taxes, and application steps.
Switzerland does not have a dedicated digital nomad visa. For short visits, Schengen rules apply (see the tourist-visa page) and do not allow taking up local work. Non-EU/EFTA nationals who want to be based in Switzerland to work — including remotely — generally need an appropriate residence-and-work permit, which is subject to quotas. EU/EFTA citizens have free movement.
